What's the best place to gather customer insight about your competitors from their users? πŸ€”

Is there a platform where I can ask for a solution to a specific problem or need and get product suggestions from real users who explain why this product is the right one? πŸ™ƒ

Perhaps Ask Product Hunt will be useful for this. πŸ˜‰ But seriously, Twitter is great for this. Search for your competitors name to see what people are saying or asking. If you need to dig deeper, consider tweeting at them to setup a conversation over email or video call to learn more. If this is helpful, consider using Tweetdeck. I see nearly every Product Hunt mention on Twitter, giving me a pulse of what people are sharing, talking about, and asking. The same can be done for your competitors.

Same recommendation! I just used Twitter to do a research sprint. I asked a few questions and got way more responses than I expected (partially due to a few unexpected RTs). I'm about to write a Medium article on the subject, and happy to share it with you when I publish. UPDATEβ€”here's the article: What I Learned About Your SXSW Experience

If you're looking more on the data side, Similarweb is fantastic. They have so much data to search through regardless of the site.
