Where do you find your desktop backgrounds?

I've been cycling between old photos that I've taken on vacations πŸ“·, but looking for something new. Anything's appreciated! πŸ™

Unsplash is clearly the winner here! There's a bunch of collections marked 'wallpaper' πŸš€

I've actually used Unsplash a little longer than a year, but a "1 Year" button is all that's available to select on Product Hunt. Unsplash gets more new stock photos to use all the time, which is a great thing. Other than the search engine needing keyword updates, this is great for all bloggers, writers, designers, and so on.

Unsplash is an amazing resource. When I started designing/developing purchasing expensive stock photos was one of the only ways of consistently getting images to use in design/web projects.

With Unsplash and Pexels, etc. though now I have access to an almost unlimited library of images. I've used Unsplash for projects all the way from mobile apps, websites, to billboard advertisements. Best part is I can just sent my clients the link and they can browse through the images themselves and send me the ones they like.

Overall an AWESOME resource. There are some minor annoyances like the addition of features that I feel just add clutter and don't add to the core value proposition (but that may just be me, and I won't name them so you can form your own opinion). My FAVORITE feature though is where they suggest giving the photographer credit - SO important and underrated.

When you have people providing as awesome resource as this it's only fair to thank them. Unsplash is a fantastic site and I highly recommend it to everyone... My one gripe is that I don't think they need to keep adding features.

A new wallpaper every day, updates the wallpaper at midnight. What I like about it is the simplicity and ease of use, four themes to pick from with seemingly handpicked wallpapers, wouldn't have my backgrounds. Wish this was available for iOS...

Fantastic app - one of those apps you never knew you needed until you got it, and then wondered how you ever lived without it. Stunning pictures so good I wish there was a pause button.

    • I don't always like the wallpaper for the specific day, but I don't worry. I just change channel and I have different wallpaper. For me it's saving soo much time, I don't have to search for high-res pictures for wallpaper, when I'm bored with the current one.

I actually just stumbled upon https://wallcrave.com/ the other day and was pretty blown away by their selection of wallpapers. The best thing about it is how easy it is to search through them. Everything is very high-res and the site automatically downloads the image according to your device's resolution. Pretty cool when you have a 3440 x 1440 monitor like me and have a tough time finding wallpapers at that resolution.

For Windows PCs, it automatically updates the desktop and lockscreen backgrounds using the fantastic images from Bing. Quick and easy install, and takes very little memory, though you might want to uncheck some extras that it offers.
