- Audible is great, I've never looked for any alternative. Would love to know if there are other app hunters would recommend.
This has quickly become one of my most frequently used apps. It also just feels a lot healthier to read these than Facebook posts or 'same story different day' news articles.
I wrote a full review of Blinkist on my blog, here: http://www.daveenjoys.com/blinkist-staying-current-break-neck-world/
- Instaread gives you short summaries & takeaways from books in audio format and the quality is amazing. No 1 in my opinion!
- I LOVE this app. The books are all free because they go through your local library system. This is the tool I use to read a book a week. I just have it hooked up to the 5 libraries near me and 90% of the books I search for are in audio format on here. Newer books take awhile to be added (just like any library) but I don't mind waiting, there are so many great choices out there.
- Librivox audio books is a free android application for audio books. A very simple to use app where you can download any of the book from our large database and listen offline at your ease. They have 1000+ books loaded in our database.
