I did some research here on Product Hunt but most of the nice ones are more for API documentation and kinda expensive.
- Look out for a simple and effective tool like ProProfs Knowledge Base. It’s cloud-based, feature-rich, and easy to use. Right from creating a document to publishing it, this tool has everything you need. It’s customizable, user-friendly, and comes with a simple pricing structure, so you don’t have to think twice before going for it.
- Today's knowledgebase/documentation for SaaS products is done using the same help desk software such as ZenDesk, FreshDesk, HelpScout, Desk.com etc. These products are great when it comes to ticketing/help desk capabilities but their self-service documentation comes with a lot of gaps. After facing challenges ourselves with these products for our product documentation, we decided to build Document360 focused specially towards SaaS product documentation.
