What are the best Evernote alternatives for Apple?

After years of being an Evernote junkie, I'm finally ready to switch. Evernote would be perfect, but I can't get over the fact that the iOS app is negligently slow on my blazing fast iPhone 6s. For a note-taking app, it takes at least six seconds to startup every time I just launch the app. I'm looking for an alternative that can do most of the basics Evernote can while being able to accommodate my fast-paced note-taking style. Also, it'd be preferable if it had the ability for me to easily import all of my note into this new app. Thanks!

In my opinion, NoteLegde is a good alternative - I found it quite easy to use, and staying organized with it wasn't difficult either. One of my favorite features of this app was the ability to add notes to my Google calendar - so managing my to-do list was not complicated at all. Another feature that I used fairly often was the handwriting/sketching tool - I'd make sketches with all my notes. All my files/notes/PDFs were always synced through my cloud, and with the web-clipper tool, gathering content (videos/images) was also very useful iin a lot of cases. So, NoteLedge is easy to use, intuitive, and lets you be creative and organized at the same time.

I tried to use Evernote and didn't get it. NoteLedge is cool though, I like it.

This App saved me. I had to turn in my lab paper and all I had with me was my iPad with notes from the lab. I had to start all over, but I still got it done in time. NoteLedge is a boss!

The native Notes app from Apple is basic, but I enjoy it for quick notes and I think the functionality has improved a ton. Plus it syncs and is super fast on iOS and desktop. (Sorry, no link since it's not a download)

I go with the standard as well. Just works! And I love that it syncs everywhere. I use it for everything.

With the recent updates to the native iOS/Android apps I'd say Dropbox Paper is a strong option
