I was a part of a remote team and we had Slack do most for us, especially with its powerful third party integrations. We had an in/out channel plus we were provided with time tracking that was supposed to be put along. On side, we had the world clock, Trello, Dropbox. Not everything was automated but doubt that - all what you look for exist in a standalone app (without integrations).
