The Notion Web clipper is simple (like really simple) I send those clipped pages into a "dispatch" database in Notion, then I can add my categorization on it. Magical and efficient. I tried everything, from Stash, to Pocket, to Raindrop and Notion killed it <3 Few previews of my setup: - Web clipper: - Dispatch inbox:  See more

I'm more and more putting my words into words. My preferred format for this is markdown because I can put anything - outlines, todos, code, images, diagrams, attachments. Bear is the best markdown editor, I have found so far. It has excellent iOS and macOS apps. It is fast. Syncing works flawlessly. Its best feature is the tags. I have thousands of docume… See more

I have them all: iA writer a long time favorite of mine for many years, Ulysses was a revolutionary addition but I just simply couldn't adopt MD XL and there is just too many settings in my opinion, Scrivener is just as convoluted, nvALT started to feel old a while ago, Evernote - no thanks, and so many more on the list, but Bear, damn I love this app, it ti… See more

I'm in love with a note-taking app for the first time since Evernote wowed me almost a decade ago. 'Bear' is what Notes should have been. Hell, it might be what Notes still aspires to be. It walks the perfect line between simple and feature-rich while offering robust options for organization, search, and - I ...

itch.io
One of my favorite parts of working for itch.io is seeing the community use the tools we've built in ways we never expected. When we first launched itch.io it was a site for games, and it still is... kind of.
TekCrispy

Beautiful Pixels
If you're a regular reader of the site, you already know that elegant note-taking apps are a dime a dozen. Some manage to stand out with unique features while others manage to squander any potential with poor business models. There are a few noteworthy apps that still manage to be worth using after a couple of weeks, like Bear.

The perfect note-taking software hasn't been invented but Agenda, a new contender that runs on the Mac, comes reasonably close. It finally delivers on a notes management feature that I've spent what seems like an eternity waiting for: the ability to link a note to a specific event on my calendar.
TidBITS
Momenta's Agenda provides novel ways of organizing projects and tasks within a note-taking system that can link to several other Mac apps. It offers a different subscription model that doesn't expire purchased features. But it has been out only since the end of 2017, and still suffers from some bugs and limitations.
Macstories
Agenda is an intriguing approach to note taking on the Mac that's organized around dates and your calendar. The app is beautifully-designed and notably feature-rich for a 1.0 but lacks an iOS counterpart, which is still in the works, and collaboration features, which will limit its appeal to some users.

TLDR; The note taking app Agenda is launching with a new sales model for Mac apps. On January 22nd, I am launching a new app for macOS: Agenda. When I say 'I', I really mean 'We', because Agenda was developed with Alexander Griekspoor and Marcello Luppi.
