Love the feature My Day, will move permanently to Microsoft To-Do when they add the collaborative features from Wunderlist.

I just started using Microsoft's To-Do upon the announcement of Wunderlist's being shut down and I'm shocked at how much I love it! It's got the same core things I loved about Wunderlist— it's clean, simple, and deals exclusively in checklists. It's the exact replacement I was looking for!
Willie Morris- Formerly Amazon, Boeing, and Faithbox
What about the app Microsoft is replacing it with? It looks pretty elegant.

Accidentally found out about the shutdown of Wunderlist which was announced already half a year ago. Why didn't you inform all current users by mail? Obviously, the shutdown Wunderlist is a big mistake, it will make users consider alternatives and as you know MS To-Do is not even getting close to Wunderlist.
TechCrunch
Microsoft acquired the popular mobile to do list application Wunderlist back in 2015, and now it's preparing users for its eventual demise with the release of its new application "To-Do," announced today. The new app was built by the team behind Wunderlist, and will bring in the favorite elements of that app in the months ahead, Microsoft says.

The best to-do list app will always be whatever works for you. One reason for the enduring popularity of pen-and-paper-based methods is that they can map perfectly to your individual needs. Thought Train

Stop using sticky notes to remember what you're doing 📒 🚫

Ever catch yourself wondering "what was I busy with just now?" while aimlessly wondering around Product Hunt or checking email?

I sure do, and so I created Thought Train:

✅ It's a menu bar app

✅ It keeps a list of your thoughts / tasks

✅ Highlight more than one thought, and they'll scroll like a carousel

✅ Clear them when you're done

Marc Perel- Coded LayersWP. Co-founded Obox.
It's certainly not a replacement, but an app I created to compliment your workflow. Always having your notes at a glance means you don't have to switch tabs or lose concentration.
Marc Perel- Coded LayersWP. Co-founded Obox.
When you're studying it's likely that you have 100s of browser tabs and 10s of apps open. Taking notes is a pain, but tabbing around is even worse. Thought Train helps you solved that burden by keeping your short notes accessible at all times.
MacGeneration
Indie Hackers
Almost a full year ago, I came up with the idea for an app which would help me get the better of my mild add using a very simple method: putting notes into my Mac OS Menubar, where I can glance at them without switching tabs.
Lifehacker
I typically start every work day by creating a list of the things I need to accomplish that day. Once something I did in the Notes app, I eventually moved to just using a page in a notebook.

You can copy-paste tasks as a simple text from Taskpaper! But... for you case, you can use "Reminders" or even "Notes" with checkboxes on IOS or Google Tasks on Android. Don't overengineer it!
Eivind Lindbråten- 🦊 Developer, Oslo, Norway.
So simple, and can structure it however you want. Also really fast to use, and integrates with reminders.
