I too would recommend this over Google WiFi. Netgear's Arlo line is also good but is a bit pricier and I don't think works as well as Eero.

We have terrible wifi in our apartment and got an eero last year. It works like a charm and was super quick to setup. We also got a decent discount so watch out for sales :)
