Hosting digital furniture designs that can be made anywhere

Opendesk furniture is designed for inspiring workplaces, but it’s also designed to disrupt the traditional 20th century model of mass-production. Rather than shipping heavy pieces, we ship digital files, meaning our furniture can be made by independent craftspeople anywhere in the world.

Yep, this may be a little late, but we also have the designs for this desk available as an open source digital file. So Ryan, if you are into digital fabrication at all and don't mind getting your hands dirty, we'd be more than happy to send across a file to try making yourself. When the last recession struck, the North Devon-based manufacturing company Renatus found its organ-building business was starting to suffer. Salvation came in an unlikely form - a machine sitting unused in its factory. Now up to 20% of its business comes from orders for precision-cut pieces of simple wooden desks and chairs.
Like many startups, the idea for Opendesk started with a problem. A few years ago, Nick Ierodiaconou, James Arthur, and Joni Steiner-at the time, the architects behind London-based firm Architecture 00 -were working with a client who had offices in both London and New York.

Get a life-size brick statue of your cat

Show your love for cats in your home with a life-size cat sculpture.

Ideal for cat lovers and toy builders, these cat sculptures draw inspiration from LEGO. Since the patent of LEGO expired decades ago, lots of building blocks products appeared in the market. But most of them are closely following the steps of LEGO and there is hardly any innovation.

The collection features 15 unique cat sculptures of different breeds and colors including Siamese, Tonkinese, Persian and Tabby cats.

Made from plastic bricks, JEKCA uses their own bricks for each sculpture, which features an innovative locking system. Additionally, the bricks lock together using screws, offering a firm hold. Likewise, the sculpture won’t break apart easily.

Assembling a cat sculpture is easy and quite straightforward. Just set some time aside so you can follow the detailed step-by-step manual that comes with the package. Celebrate your feline friend by getting its sculpture or confuse it with a LEGO lookalike.
