@amrith I use Stop Breathe & Think for guided meditations! It uses mindful minutes, which is integrated into Apple's Health app!

@amrith with practice, I've done non-guided meditations as well, which are also incredibly valuable to me.

@amrith @nikolay_siabrenko Scientifically speaking, meditation actually increases gray matter in the brain, it also increases focus and memory recall over time. When paired with a healthy diet + exercise, meditation can reverse the affects of aging. ( some research paper done by a lab @ UCLA ) For me personally, when I struggle with anxiety, I always turned to meditation. It gives me something similar to runner's high, but more calm. For many people who struggle with a mental illness, it can be a healthy & helpful coping mechanism.
