@fanahova ambitious! What have you read so far?
@rrhoover Definitely not going to be easy but I'm excited to see how many I can get through! It's also all paper books, no ebooks, that way I also use this time as an excuse to disconnect from screens and technology. Reading books with very different subjects one after the other has been useful in keeping me engaged. So far I read Shoe Dog by Phil Knight, Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi, Zero to One by Thiel and Chasing Perfection by Andy Glockner. Going through Give and Take by Adam Grant now.
@fanahova I've heard great things about Shoe Dog and Zero to One. I find it easier to fit an audiobook into my routine, listening at the gym or on walks. Admittedly my mind sometimes wanders but it's better than not reading at all.
@fanahova I'm on to 24 this year! 4/20 so far
@fanahova Are you sticking to only non-fiction? Is there a theme / selection process for what you choose? I set out to read one fiction and non-fiction each month as a nice balance - each challenges a different part of my mind 🧠
@abadesi It depends! I used to only read fiction before so I'm doing mostly non fiction and biographies now, but I do have the new Harry Potter play script on the shelf :) I'm also slowly re-reading Dante's Comedy, I have a copy I annotated in school throughout the years. It's just such a beautiful piece of art that I could re read it every year. The only issue is that it's really dense so it takes a while to read!
Finished Elon Musk by Ashlee Vance to make it 6/20 ✅ Fell a bit behind because of wedding planning but hoping to catch up!
7/20 with Decoded by Jay Z
8/20 with The Virgin Way by Richard Branson
9/20 with Angel by Calacanis. I've been so busy with moving but it's time to pick it up again!
10/20 with Play Bigger
11/20 with Mamba Mentality by Kobe Bryant
