So far, it looks kind of like Buzzfeed mixed with Huffington Post to me. They have listicles and slideshows that - for the most part - are on real news instead of dog memes or nostalgia. (The slideshows also serve frequent ads). I found them to be informative, but I couldn't help but feel everything was heavily SEO'ed: "What is obamacare?"; "What does obamacare do?"; "What happens if I can't buy health insurance". These are about.com level topics.
On the bright side, there's this great long form piece on how politics makes us stupid by Ezra Klein: http://www.vox.com/2014/4/6/5556...
I usually enjoy Ezra and Yglesias so I have high hopes. I just really hope they evolve beyond some of the current content formats they've premiered with.
