Very excited to share this project with you all! Hopefully this a step forward to making wine easy and accessible for everyone. We are eager to hear your thoughts and if you have some ideas for improvements.
Also we just launched our dataset in GPT as “Elizabeth”, give it a go if you have GPTplus: https://chat.openai.com/g/g-auTV....
I used to work in F&B hotel operations - and even though I studied wine extensively, I would still definitely need this!!! No more guess work when selecting which wines (grape varieties) to have depending on the occasion / food pairing. Congratulations on the launch, Eemeli!
I've been wanting to understand wine for such a long time so this was fun to see. The learning curve seems very intimidating at first but love the making win easy tag line.
@ellson_chen That's great to hear! Yeah, wine stuff can be quite intimidating, but the depth and complexity are also what makes it so exciting. And hopefully, in the future, in those intimidating situations, we'll have something like the AI sommelier to help us out!
@leon_ostrez Thanks for asking, we do get this question a lot. We know all the regions and grapes there are, to a reasonable level, and all the other info of a wine is down to simple numbers like sugar g per litre or alcohol % which we know once we plug into a customers product feed. The AI just sees the wines as a set of numbers, so no matter if its a world-class wine from Bordeaux or something you made in your backyard we will able to pair and suggest it.
@adrian75 The demos use a large data set that has been gathered by scraping etc. In specific cases the data might come from the customer/partner or the large data set could be narrowed down to fit whatever use case.
